Kymberly performs in theater, film, commercials, and voice-overs.

She has appeared at Utah Shakespeare Festival, playing Madame Thenardier in Les Miz, Gertrude in Hamlet, Mistress Quickly in Merry Wives, Titania/Hippolyta in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Lady Macbeth in Macbeth, and Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing.

Regional theater work includes shows at Pioneer Theatre Company (Salt Lake), Writers’ Theatre, Court Theatre, Northlight Theatre, Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, Steppenwolf Theatre, Marriott Lincolnshire Theatre (Chicago theaters), Jackson Hole Playhouse and Sundance Theatre.

Kymberly received two Chicago’s Joseph Jefferson Award for "Outstanding Performance in a Featured Role", and the After Dark Award, and has been named "Creative Chicagoan of the Year by the Chicago Sun Times.

Kymberly Mellen is a University Teacher, Acting, and Monologue Coach
Kymberly is currently a full-time tenure-track instructor at University of Nevada, Las Vas Vegas. She also offers private acting  lessons, live or via ZOOM/skype, with an emphasis on developing monologues and auditioning for college application.
